Faina Rudshteyn

Art has been one of Faina Rudshteyn’s greatest passions that has cultivated into a successful career as a freelance makeup artist. She is originally from New York City where she finished her degree in Fashion Marketing at the New York City College of Technology and fell in love with makeup artistry. She learned beauty, special effects, and body art after completing the Master Makeup Program at the Make Up For Ever Academy NYC. Shortly after, she was hired to work at the Make Up Forever Pro Studio in New York City as a Resident Artist. During her time there she had developed a love for education when she was able to demo her makeups at various tradeshows in different states for The Makeup Show and the International Makeup Artist Tradeshow. Faina has worked on independent films, music videos, and fashion editorials, done shoots for PopSugar, Huffington Post, and assisted many well-known artists.

Besides body art and beauty, Faina is extremely passionate about special effects makeup and enjoys bringing her characters to life. In 2014, she won 2nd place in the Character/Prosthetic Competition at the International Makeup Artist Tradeshow in Sydney Australia. Her passion for special effects makeup only grew from there. In the fall of 2015, she moved to Los Angeles to gain a greater education with special effects. She took courses at Cinema Makeup School in Hollywood. Faina was a semi-finalist on the 12th season of FaceOff on the SyFy channel. She has also done demos at Monsterpalooza and WonderCon and is currently an artist at the effects shop Immortal Masks while freelancing for Make Up For Ever and European Body Art. Faina frequently travels between Los Angeles and New York City as she continues to build her portfolio with character makeups, fashion editorials, bridal beauty, and body art on her pursuit to learn, create, and educate.
